Patrick O'Dea

Pat, originally from Detroit, Michigan, moved to Florida 17 years ago,  and came to BRIC as one of our early forensic cases.  Pat started heavily abusing alcohol from a very young age and continued that pattern up until April 2020 landing himself in jail facing felony DUI charges. 

Pat now resides in Melbourne with his wife Bekah and their four children.  He attributes his 3 plus years of sobriety to daily connections of recovery, faith, family and fitness.  Currently, Pat shares his experience, strength and hope in the rooms of AA, AA sponsorship, and through speaking engagements.

He is currently working as an independent contractor in the flooring and home remodel industry.  As a family, they enjoy traveling for their eldest's competitive soccer tournaments, annual trips up north or just staying local and enjoying all the parks and beaches of Brevard and the surrounding area.  Pat maintains that the life he has today was the one he could only dream about just a few years ago.
