James Owens

 Peer Support Specialist | Transport Specialist 

James is a compassionate and dependable behavioral health professional dedicated to guiding individuals through the recovery process with empathy, structure, and consistency. Based in Brevard County, James brings extensive experience in peer support, patient accountability, and transport to his role with Beachside Recovery Interventions + Consulting.

With a background spanning residential care, drug court programs, and outpatient treatment, James has developed a strong foundation in patient engagement, clinical collaboration, and operational support. His work at Peace Club in Cocoa Beach as both an Office Administrator, Transport Care, and Behavioral Health Technician has allowed him to combine administrative precision with direct patient care—supporting therapists, facilitating communication between teams, and maintaining program compliance with compassion and professionalism. 

 

Previously, as a House Manager at Seabreeze Recovery in Melbourne, James oversaw daily residential operations and provided mentorship to patients, helping them build structure, accountability, and positive habits in early recovery. His leadership fostered environments of trust, discipline, and peer-driven growth.

Within the primary roles of Transport Specialist and Peer Support Specialists, James is deeply committed to helping patients achieve long-term wellness and stability. Whether transporting a forensic patient, coordinating care, facilitating treatment compliance, or offering one-on-one support, he embodies the core values of empathy, dedication, and teamwork that define Beachside Recovery Interventions + Consulting.
