Denny Kolsch, LMHC, QS

Denny is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor and is a specialist in treating Opioid addiction and trauma and anxiety disorders. With a tight knit team of friends and family, Denny started Peace Club after several friends died from Heroin and Fentanyl overdose and after sustaining recovery from his own Opioid addiction. 

Over the past 10 years, Denny has worked as a clinician, advocate, and public speaker, most notably with To Write Love On Her Armssharing his story of hope and recovery from Heroin addiction at colleges, high schools, and communities across the US, Canada and U.A.E.

A member of the Brevard County Opioid Task Force, Denny also sits on the FBI’s panel for their documentary film, “Chasing the Dragon: The Life of an Opioid Addict.” Denny was also featured in the award winning documentary, "Coming Clean."

Denny is dedicated to bringing healing to families and communities affected by the American Opioid Crisis, particularly in his home town of Cocoa Beach and surrounding Brevard County.  Denny currently carries many roles including Founder and Clinical Director of Peace Club and Clinical Director of St. Johns Recovery Place and Beachside Recovery Interventions + Consulting. Drew, the Founder of BRIC, and Denny have been working together in their community for years, since Drew helped to open Peace Club as Program Director.  Denny took a special interest in Drew's therapeutic style and clinical gifts and has been a primary mentor in his life both professionally and personally.  Denny took a particular interest in BRIC due to it's approach at treatment and working with families, unrelenting focus on their community, goal to enhance the integrity of the field. 

In his spare time, Denny enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, exercising and going to the gym, playing guitar, reading, traveling, and hanging out with his therapy dog Frankie.
