SUMMER STOCKS

Summer is a Florida native who was born and raised in Satellite Beach. She graduated from Satellite High School in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Central Florida, with an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2026. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, Summer plans to continue her education by pursuing a Master of Social Work.

Summer joined Beachside Behavioral Health to further develop her clinical knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the behavioral health field. In her role, she observes individual and group therapy sessions, assists with behavioral activation activities, participates in forensic evaluations and court testimony observations, and supports the team with a variety of administrative responsibilities. Through these experiences, Summer is working toward strengthening the educational foundation established through her academic studies while gaining a deeper understanding of the complexities of behavioral health treatment.

Her learning objectives include developing insight into various therapeutic orientations and clinical modalities, understanding ethical considerations within behavioral healthcare, expanding her knowledge of diagnostic impressions, and learning how different dynamics impact treatment and recovery. Summer’s passion for helping others, particularly children and families, continues to guide her professional and academic journey.

Outside of her academic and professional interests, Summer enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and being outdoors.
