Ashley Allen Seguna, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Ashley Seguna is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice who brings extensive experience, compassion, and clinical expertise to her role as Director of Medication Management at Beachside Recovery Interventions + Consulting.

In her role, Dr. Seguna works collaboratively with both patients and the multidisciplinary team at Beachside Recovery Interventions + Consulting to provide comprehensive medication evaluation and management services. She draws upon her diverse background in primary care, acute care, and nursing education to deliver personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that support each patient’s mental health and overall well-being. Her approach emphasizes the connection between mind and body—integrating lifestyle medicine, preventive care, and patient empowerment to promote long-term recovery and stability.

Beyond her leadership at Beachside Recovery, Dr. Seguna serves as an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner at Rocket Health Care in Cocoa Beach, where she provides concierge primary care focused on holistic, patient-centered medicine. She is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing, where she mentors graduate students and oversees Doctor of Nursing Practice projects, shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Dr. Seguna earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors. Her doctoral research focused on improving access to postpartum diabetes screening in underserved populations, reflecting her lifelong dedication to equitable and compassionate healthcare. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, where she graduated Cum Laude.

A lifelong learner and advocate for clinical excellence, Dr. Seguna is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains advanced certifications in Critical Care Nursing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale. She is a proud member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Recognized for her leadership and dedication, Dr. Seguna was named to the University of Central Florida’s 30 Under 30 and has received multiple awards for clinical excellence and professional development.
