Colleen P. Wuchte, MA, RMHCI

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Primary Therapist

Colleen Wuchte has lived in Florida most of her life with her family, and growing up, whenever there were hard times, she found solace in movies, television, and books. They were her escape and were a vital part of helping her cope with specific situations.

Colleen enrolled in Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) after graduating from Viera High school. She received her Associate’s degree in Psychology from EFSC, while working at the public safety building as a Student Assistant. Then, she transferred to the University of Central Florida (UCF) online to continue her education, while still working at EFSC. After two years attending UCF, Colleen received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and received a minor in Criminal Justice. Continuing her education, she graduated from Webster University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and interned at Brevard Counseling, LLC for over a year while in school.

Colleen is trained in a variety of areas and uses multiple methods that are specific to each person. This path led her to become a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working towards licensure and a possible doctoral degree in the future.

Colleen is a Gottman Level 3 trained therapist wrapping up her full certification and is a certified play therapist.

In her spare time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her friends and her family. When able, she enjoys watching movies, going to theme parks, playing Pokémon Go, going to the beach, going to speculative fiction conventions as in Mega Con, practicing self-care, and continuing education.
