Chris Kaigle, Esq.
The Kaigle Law Firm
Chris was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Oak Ridge High School. After graduating, Chris went to Valencia Community College and then attended the University of Central Florida. Upon earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Chris enrolled in the University of Florida Levin College of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate.
Following his graduation from law school and passing the Florida Bar, Chris accepted a position at the Office of the Public Defender in Orlando, Florida. While there, Chris handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases, quickly developing a reputation for being an aggressive trial lawyer and was promoted to the felony division in less than a year. During his time at the Public Defender’s Office, Chris had the opportunity to handle virtually every type of crime. After his tenure as an Assistant Public Defender, Chris worked at a boutique Central Florida law firm where he gained valuable experience in the private sector and dealing with complex cases throughout the State of Florida. After being there for almost 2 years, Chris opened The Kaigle Law Firm, P.A. right here in his hometown of Orlando. Since the founding of his firm, Chris has continued to aggressively represent those accused of crimes in both misdemeanor and felony court, especially those accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and other driving-related offenses. Additionally, Chris has represented many people under investigation and indictment from State and Federal authorities as well as college students in both their alleged criminal and student conduct violations.
Chris is often asked: what makes him different from the other lawyers in the area defending those accused of a DUI?
Unlike many attorneys, Chris is not afraid to go to trial as he has tried numerous felony and misdemeanor DUI jury trials in his career. This lack of fear gives his clients a battle-tested edge over many others. For sure, Chris’ dedication, trial experience, and no-nonsense attitude make him a true advocate in defending his clients. For his hard-work, Chris has been awarded the designation of a Super Lawyer for the past 3 years, a designation given through a selective peer evaluation process to only 2.5% of lawyers in the State of Florida. In addition, Chris received the Client Satisfaction Award for DUI Cases by the American Institute of DUI Attorneys in 2016, and his firm was designated one of the 10 Best Law Firms by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys for 2016-2017.
Chris also remains active in the community as a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Middle District Court of Florida, United States District Court, and the University Club of Orlando. Chris works and lives near downtown Orlando with his wonderful wife, Shirley; and, is the proud parent to his daughter Frances (age 7) and son Evan (age 4).
